Guru Dev’s Golden Jubilee celebrates the time 50 years ago when Maharishi received from Guru Dev the inspiration to restore Vedic civilization to the world. Vedic civilization means a world where every individual rises to their Cosmic status in higher consciousness, experiences the blossoming of noble qualities and bliss, and receives the full support of Natural Law for their every aspiration. On the collective level it means administration through Natural Law, creating a world free from disease and poverty, a world enjoying perpetual peace, where everyone feels they are living in Heaven.

Such a world enjoying Heaven on Earth existed in the time of Ram Raj—the time of the rulership of Ram, the embodiment of Total Natural Law that is the administrator of the ever-expanding universe.

Now such a time is dawning on earth again thanks to Maharishi and Guru Dev. The imminent arrival of this golden age was seen by Maharishi in his recent coronation of Vishwa Prashasak (Global Administrator) Raja Ram as the First Sovereign Ruler of the Vishwashanti Rastra—Global Country of World Peace.

On October 12, Maharishi personally crowned Raja Ram with greatest emotion, speaking the following words: "Rule the Global Country of World Peace, according to the Vedic principles which have been given to us by the Holy Tradition of Vedic Masters."

Simultaneously Maharishi bestowed upon him the title of Ram , symbolizing Maharishi’s restoration of Vedic civilization on earth, and the fulfillment of his Master’s command to him 50 years ago. This coronation, along with the Rajyabhishek (installation ceremony) performed by the Vedic pandits over the succeeding five days, brought to the highest level of fulfillment Maharishi’s celebration of Guru Dev’s Golden Jubilee.

The Tribal Kings and the Global Country of World Peace
For many years Maharishi has searched for one nation that could become the first Country of World Peace, a land where Vedic principles of life are predominant and every citizen living their Cosmic potential is a powerful force for peace and harmony on earth. But no one country has stepped forward yet to take this role.

So Maharishi decided to form a Global Country of World Peace without boundaries of geography or religion, where every peace-loving person on earth could be a citizen. To form this Global Country, Maharishi particularly turned to Tribal Kings—the leaders of the traditional groups worldwide whose language and culture were damaged or destroyed by the European colonial invasions over the past centuries.

Maharishi is inspiring these tribal groups to become the first administrative units of the Global Country of World Peace, where the tribal peoples through Maharishi Vedic Technologies of Consciousness can fathom twice daily the infinite bliss and peace of their own Being, their own Atma or Self.

Furthermore, their ancient monarchical system of government will be restored, providing a stable and conflict-free government in accord with ancient traditions and local Laws of Nature of each tribal area.

Raja Ram Ruling through the Constitution of the Universe
Ruling over all this will be Raja Ram , representing on earth in our age the ancient tradition of kingly rulership of the Solar Dynasty of Sri Ram in the kingdom of Ayodhya.
