This is the time when the world demands a power of peace in the whole world. The time demands the rise of a peaceful power on earth whose strength will be so globally and concretely realized that all these destructive forces will vanish.

We say: "The essential nature of life is bliss." This is the voice of the Vedic principle of life. This Vedic principle has been established at the basis of all the physical values by our scientists who will be administering the Global Country of World Peace through that invincible power of peace which will not allow destructive forces to remain.

Now I am inaugurating this Global Country of World Peace and I’ll watch how much time it takes for these destructive forces to wither away—maybe a few months, maybe a few years—but the story of suffering is going to end. World leaders are already apologizing, and this is the right influence created by every single Meditator and Yogic Flyer in the world.

Our scientists will have a University of World Peace with all those measures for perfect health, defense, agriculture, communication. They are the most brilliant minds in the field of science and they will bless the world with their knowledge, with their science and technology which will administer world consciousness. There will be administrative centers in each continent, each country, each state, each city and each village.

It pains me to see how much the tribal chiefs in different parts of the world are suffering. Their Mother Tongues are being jeopardized; their system of authority in their own tribal areas is almost extinct. These so-called civilized people who are administering them have been so cruel to the sanctity of the tribal communities.

I gained hope the other day when I was told that presidents and the Pope are apologizing for the mistakes that they have committed against these tribal chiefs. So there is a sign of rising purity in world consciousness.

I take this inauguration of the Global Country of World Peace today as one of the influences of rising purity in world consciousness. This shows me that I am with the time, not behind time.

I have brought this purity in world consciousness through teaching Transcendental Meditation to millions of people, and our Open University’s eight-satellite network has been giving them Total Knowledge for the last two years.

We are not an organization to oppose anyone. We don’t oppose the darkness—we bring the light. We teach Transcendental Meditation to all the individuals in all the countries; we bring to their awareness something that was out of sight. And we have realized through all the scientific experimentation that we have done well for the world.

Now as a required means today, I am very happy to inaugurate an administration for the Global Country of World Peace. This country is not in one little place, not of one little population, but the population of the world as a whole, because life everywhere is cosmic.

And I am appointing as the head of this organization the greatest scientist of the world, Professor Tony Nader, to administer through that eternal constitution—Rk Veda—and through the 40 values of the Vedic Literature.
