I had a serious case of eczema—dermatologists call it atopic dermatitis—from head to toe. There were patches on my face, on my neck, on my hands, arms, chest, under the knees, on my toes—it was just everywhere. And it was a living nightmare, a 24-hour nightmare. I tried the standard conventional treatments of corticosteroids and antihistamines. They would work for awhile, but then my body would stop responding to them. And they had some really bad side effects. The antihistamines put me to sleep so I couldn’t work, and the corticosteroids, especially the prednisone injections, made me feel restless.

That was the commercial stuff. I also tried acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, nutritional based approaches, fasting, hypnosis—none of these things helped me at all.

When I first read about Maharishi Vedic Vibration Technology on the Internet I thought to myself, "Maybe it will succeed, maybe it won’t. I’ll try it and see how it works." I had become rather cynical.

I had three sessions in the course of about one week. I didn’t experience anything during the sessions themselves, except for the last one when I felt very peaceful. About a week or two later I woke up one morning and my skin was clear! The eczema was 80 percent gone! The most important thing is that I’m a happy person once again. I enjoy my work, I love my kids—I’m having a great time in my life.

It’s like night and day.

Waves of Relief

For years I’ve had serious menstrual problems, colon problems and lower back pain. My physician, Dr. Lonsdorf, recommended that I try Maharishi Vedic Vibration Technology. She felt that if we focused on the lower back problem it might address the cause of all three problems.

The MVVT process was so gentle and quiet and delicate. I was afraid that my problems were so dug in and serious that the subtlety of the consultation would not be able to blast through them.

Immediately after the first session I started having waves of relief from all three problems. The symptoms would come back and then I would have this wave where they would all go away and I would feel absolutely better than I’ve ever felt. By the time I’d had my third session I walked out feeling more hope and physical comfort than I’d felt after years of regular medical treatment.

My golf game improved because the knot in my back was gone—I could swing, I could bend over, I could twist—all from this quiet, subtle, delicate, very relaxing procedure. It’s been almost two months since I’ve had the consultation. All three problems are gone and I feel wonderful.

Tyler's Happy Now

My nephew Tyler’s mom passed away last summer and we were concerned about his grief. He was also having some behavior problems in school. We wanted to see if there was something that could bring more happiness and stability to his life

We contacted the Maharishi Vedic Medical Center and spoke to Dr. Nancy Lonsdorf. After an examination to see which type of program would be best for Tyler, she recommended Maharishi Vedic Vibration Technology for emotional stability, and also for his digestion.

At first Tyler was afraid to go because he thought there might be needles and pain. Once he found out it wasn’t going to hurt, he enjoyed the sessions.

Now his digestion is really much better. He doesn’t have pain anymore. But the main thing we are so pleased with is that his behavior has improved greatly. The Therapist he was seeing said that she noticed an underlying base of happiness that wasn’t present before. There had been moments of happiness, but now he just seems basically happy.

I went to a conference at school to review his progress and was surprised it only took two or three minutes. The teacher told me there was nothing we really needed to talk about, that Tyler was cooperating and trying to do well. I asked the teacher, "Why did I get this six-page report about all the things he was doing wrong?" She said, "I made that report a month and a half ago, and since that time there’s nothing to report on."
