"Loving
Hands, Open Hearts"

"I’ve worked as a technician since 1986 and
enjoyed every day of it. I deeply appreciate working in this supportive
atmosphere. It has brought me spiritual growth and cultivation of the
heart—the intention to have loving hands opens the heart."
These are the words of Kim Worsfeld, a Maharishi Vedic
Approach to Health technician at The Raj in Fairfield, Iowa. Kim is one of
many dedicated individuals trained to give the various treatments of
Maharishi Vedic Medicine.
"It’s vigorous work," says Pati Cooley,
another technician at The Raj, "but I find the atmosphere restful and
soothing. I’ve learned to work with many types of people. I’ve learned
to take it as it comes, and that has helped me in my personal life as
well."
Randol Oberson trains technicians all over the world.
"The technicians are warm people, people with open hearts," he
says, "who enjoy working with others in a sattvic or pure
environment. This profession is a wonderful way to go deeply into the
knowledge and experience of the Maharishi Vedic Approach to Health."
Technician John Pielemeier agrees. "I wanted work
that promoted my own growth and health, physically and emotionally,"
he says. "Now I have the satisfaction of helping provide medical
treatments that are more humane and compassionate."
A month-long Technician Training Course gives each
technician a complete understanding of how the treatments create health—through
Vedic physiological purification procedures and by enlivening the body’s
own inner intelligence. Extensive practice of the treatment techniques
makes each technician a relaxed and competent professional.
"We work closely with the experts in Maharishi
Vedic Medicine from India," Randol Oberson comments. "So we gain
this valuable knowledge of health in the same way it has been taught for
centuries."
Sallie Morgan adds, "As a technician, I’m trained
to help create the experience of wholeness, of perfect health. My
interaction with a guest and the guest’s interaction with me create a
natural, spontaneous flow of love. This is clearly valuable, satisfying,
and fulfilling service."
