The
Whole Knowledge in One
Expression
Excerpts
from a New Videotape by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi

If you ask me to give
the whole knowledge in one expression, what I’ll say is this: Self—Veda—Body—the
Body of the Universe—and the Totality. In Vedic expressions I’ll say:
Atma, Consciousness—Veda, the Laws of Nature—Sharir, body, physiology—Vishwa,
the universe—and the Totality, Brahm.
So what I’ll say is: Atma— Veda—Sharir—Vishwa—
Brahm. Just these few words: Atma—Veda—Sharir—Vishwa— Brahm, the
Totality.
Aham Brahmasmi, I am Totality. That thou art, Tat twam
asi.
Sarvam khalu idam Brahm. All this is Brahm—Totality.
So, Aham Brahmåsmi—in one expression—I am Totality.
I am Atma. I am Veda. I am the body. I am Vishwa. I am
the Self.
The Nature of the Self is reverberating consciousness.
Reverberating consciousness expressed in the body, the whole body
functions with the functioning of the entire universe.
This is the whisper of Total Knowledge. If you want,
listen to a very short elaboration of this.
Atma, in its self-referral state is the unbounded field
of intelligence, like an ocean where all the waves have settled down. When
the mind settles down it experiences the unbounded field of intelligence,
consciousness, like the settled state of the ocean. Settled state of the
ocean—every point of it has the creativity of the whole ocean. Every
point of the ocean can rise up in a wave like that.
So when the mind of the individual settles down, it
gains the status of the unbounded state of peace eternal. And in that,
every point of consciousness has that potential that it can take the
entire infinite creative potential of the ocean of life, unbounded, to
rise in one wave. You gain the custody of all the Laws of Nature. Your
thoughts will be supported by the totality of Nature’s creativity.
This is the life that everyone can live through Vedic
knowledge. Forty aspects of the Vedic knowledge are all summarized in one
name—Jyotish. Jyotish mati pragya—the intelligence of Total Knowledge.
The practical aspect of Jyotish is yagya, which can correct any disorder
of any nature in one’s own consciousness, and makes that consciousness
function with the total value of consciousness.
Every part of the individual brain has its connectedness
with the functioning of the galactic stars and solar systems—sun, moon,
planets and all. The individual’s brain physiology is completely
connected for its structure and function in the solar system.
Dr. Tony Nader has related the Vedas—the structures of
knowledge in consciousness— to the human physiology and to the
physiology of the solar system. Listen to this knowledge, and try to have
the Vedic knowledge actualized in your life through yagyas—Vedic
performances.
It’s a great science of life where you can correct all
the mistakes of your own action through the Vedic performances, revert
back the wrong doing—the result of wrong doing—in a corrected manner,
and begin to live a neat and clean life. Neat and clean life means fully
lively individual potential with cosmic potential—life according to
Natural Law, simple and clear and unbounded and infinite. Enjoy!
This article is excerpted from a beautiful series of
lectures on the Maharishi Yagya program recorded December 31, 1999. Each
lecture by Maharishi concludes with a graphic presentation by Professor
Tony Nader, M.D., Ph.D. on the influence of the Grahas, or planets, on
human brain physiology
