New Video Establishes Benefits of Vedic Architecture

A beautiful new 30-minute videotape "Maharishi Sthapatya Veda—Architecture in Harmony with Natural Law," clearly and simply presents the benefits, theory and principles of this profound Vedic science of architectural design in a very logical and entertaining way.

In the tape we visit homes and businesses of people who are living and working in Maharishi Sthapatya Veda design buildings. They discuss how deeper values of consciousness are enlivened in their day-to-day living, giving rise to experiences of "support of Nature," greater happiness, and increased wealth and health.

The video, produced by Maharishi Thousand-Headed Purusha member Marty Howe, also includes:

• Architects and scientists presenting the forgotten architectural     precepts of Right Direction, Right Placement, Right Proportion, and Brahmasthan.
• Dr. John Hagelin, Dr. Eike Hartmann and Veronica Butler, M.D. describing scientific research on Maharishi Sthapatya Veda design.
• Professor Tony Nader, M.D., Ph.D. offering insight into the relationship between the Vedic discipline of Sthapatya Veda and our "cosmic counterparts"—the sun, moon and stars.

One of the highlights of the tape is a beautiful explanation by Maharishi which captures the very essence of Sthapatya Veda. He speaks of Vastu, the placement and design of a building, as "that force of Natural Law that connects the intelligence of the individual structure, the body, with the intelligence of the structure of the whole universe."

The tape concludes with a vision of possibilities, presenting Maharishi’s four-phase plan to reconstruct the world according to the principles of Maharishi Sthapatya Veda design.
