Finding the Key to Happy Family Life

With modern family life becoming more and more complex and demanding, how can busy parents today keep on top of their many responsibilities—earning money, maintaining family health and harmony, and progressing in their spiritual lives?

Greg and Linda Spitzfaden of Peterborough, New Hampshire with their three daughters, Sarah, 11, Amy, 8, and Haley, 18 mos. Greg and Linda Spitzfaden, parents of three girls and each the head of their own business, have found the key to happy family life in the ancient science of Vedic Astrology, called the Maharishi Jyotish program.

The Spitzfadens actually began to use this Vedic science of prediction before they married 12 years ago, when Linda suggested that they have a compatibility consultation, a special service that indicates whether two people will be compatible for marriage.

"The Jyotish expert commented that we would always have two opinions in our household," says Linda with a laugh. "That has helped us, just to know ahead of time that we are not going to agree on everything."

Smoothing Bumps in the Business Road

Over the years, the Spitzfadens have used Maharishi Jyotish services in their businesses, to predict trends in their children’s health, and to choose auspicious times for investing, building a house, and signing important contracts.

"I admit, I was skeptical at first," says Greg. "Yet I saw right away that the Maharishi Jyotish experts were incredibly accurate in describing past and future trends in my life."

For Greg, the value of the Maharishi Jyotish program lies not only in its predictive accuracy, but in the fact that there are remedies, in the form of Maharishi Yagya performances, for any bumps in the road that might be coming up ahead. Linda has found similar effects. "There was an earlier period in my life when I was working for someone else, and was unwilling to admit how unhappy I was. So I did a Maharishi Yagya, and within a month I very effortlessly had started my own business and doubled my salary.

"Every time we do yagyas, it’s of course an investment—they’re not inexpensive. But within weeks we always end up getting back much more than the amount we’ve invested. It’s happened without fail every time."

Healthy and Happy Family Life

The Spitzfadens have had life-readings done for each of their children. "A consultation tells you the duration of certain phases the children are going through," says Linda, "and also what to worry about and what not to worry about."

Greg and Linda also have Maharishi Yagya performances for their children every year around their birthdays. The first time they had a yagya done for their oldest daughter, Sarah, she was five. "As soon as we had the yagya, Sarah stepped into a true big-sister role with her younger sister Amy, who has a strong personality," says Linda. "Now Sarah has become the leader, the guide, the nurturer, which is very beautiful to see.

"When our youngest daughter Haley was only one week old, a Maharishi Jyotish expert visited our home," says Linda. "They said that in the first few years of life she would develop various respiratory problems. Sure enough, she developed a rattle that wouldn’t go away for weeks even with the doctor’s care. We had a yagya done for her and it knocked it out within days.

"These are just a few of the many, many wonderful experiences we’ve had with Maharishi Jyotish and Yagya," says Linda. Greg laughs. "We’re pretty much Maharishi Jyotish enthusiasts. We highly recommend it to everyone."
