The message of this magazine is simple—it is the message of enlightenment. Enlightenment is the birthright of everyone, and Maharishi has come out to deliver this birthright to all mankind.

During this year’s Victory Day celebration, Maharishi reminded us again that "the individual is cosmic." Maharishi said, "Our status is Aham Brahmasmi—‘I am Totality.’ This is not anything that one has to achieve; this is the reality that one is."

Now Maharishi would like to bring enlightenment to the whole world as quickly as possible. He is focused on achieving three great goals: the eradication of poverty; the end of war; and the establishment of Maharishi Global Administration through Natural Law to provide automation in administration to every nation.

First Maharishi Vedic Center
Completion of the first Maharishi Vedic Center in Bethesda, Maryland is an important step for achieving these goals in North America. Maharishi Vedic Centers will provide proper education to develop the full creative potential of every individual, enlisting greater support from Nature for the economic well-being of society.

Each Maharishi Vedic Center will also create coherence and raise the level of collective consciousness in its community. It will inspire many more people to learn the Transcendental Meditation technique, and more Meditators to take the TM-Sidhi program. Wherever groups of people are already gathered— in businesses, schools, or the military— groups of Yogic Flyers will be established to create an invincible armor of defense for the nation, disallowing the birth of an enemy.

The Maharishi Vedic Center in Bethesda is the first building in North America for Maharishi Global Administration through Natural Law. We should all send our congratulations to the Abramson Family and the family of Meditators in Bethesda for their great success. They have taken Maharishi’s plan and achieved it.

If every well-wisher in the nation follows Bethesda’s example, by building one Maharishi Vedic Center, they will fulfill the great need of their community. They will be blessed by Nature generation after generation, because such Centers will continue to create all good for everyone over and over again, and this good will return to those who first established these buildings.

Ancient Wisdom, Modern Technology
We are living in a very fortunate time, when two streams of knowledge— one ancient and one modern— have come together. Through Maharishi’s blessings, we now have a revival of the most ancient Vedic wisdom delivered directly to our homes by modern communications technology. Never before has one individual had the vision, the wisdom and the technology to offer guidance to the whole world on a daily basis.
