Mozambique: Mozambique Accepts Maharishi's Offer of Invincibility
Every nation on earth has been invited to become a member of Maharishi's Global Administration through Natural Law and thereby become invincible. The cost of membership is to create and maintain group of Yogic Flyers.

In a letter sent to political leaders of all countries, Dr. Bevan Morris wrote, "This approach is very simple. Your government simply establishes a group of experts in Yogic Flying. Such a group has the ability to enliven the support of the invincible power of Natural Law for the nation, and avert the birth of an enemy."

His Excellency Joachim Alberto Chissano Rama, President of the Republic of Mozambique, is the first leader to accept Maharishi’s Offer.

India: State Housing Board Embraces Vastu Construction
The Times of India recently reported that the Karnataka Housing Board (KHB) will construct all future housing projects in accord with the ancient Indian tradition of Vastu. The knowledge of Vastu, available in Maharishi Sthapatya Veda design, includes proper evaluation of the building site, orientation of the building, and arrangement of rooms. The KHB has proposed 53 new housing projects, of which 40 have already received administrative approval.

India: Maharishi to Create Five Groups of 7,000 Yogic Flyers
Maharishi has announced a plan to establish five groups of 7,000 experts in Yogic Flying in India, the Land of the Veda. "To achieve a harmonious world consciousness, and to maintain it for all generations to come," Maharishi commented, "we need a greater softness in world consciousness." He added that the world requires the enormous harmonizing effect which can be easily provided by large groups of Yogic Flyers, since from time to time difficulties in world consciousness continue to bubble up.

A campaign has been started to collect the 200 million US dollars necessary to support these five coherence-creating groups perpetually. Wealthy supporters have committed to contribute a substantial proportion of this amount by summer. Maharishi said that once these groups are set, the world will be absolutely different.

The Ukraine: Maharishi University of Management Students Score High in Growth of Intelligence
In Dnepropetrovsk, Ukraine, a professor of psychology at the State University has completed a one-year study on Maharishi University of Management students who practice the TM technique. The professor found that after one year, the meditating students scored significantly higher than students from his own university on a full range of psychological tests, including intelligence, creativity and personality.

Peru: Permanent Coherence-Creating Group Established in Puno
As noted in our September 1998 issue Javier Ortiz Cabrejos established a creating-coherence group in Puno, Peru which ended a severe drought. However, as the number of students meditating together began to decrease, the drought returned. Mr. Ortiz recognized the need to create a permanent group of Meditators so that the city could enjoy continuous support of Natural Law.

As soon as Mr. Ortiz returned to Puno, the people began to say, "Now it will rain." With the support of local educational leaders, he began a project to teach the TM program in the National Secondary School in Puno. Shortly after several hundred students were instructed in the TM technique, the rains began again. In addition, students practicing the TM technique have won many of their school's awards in mathematics, poetry, music and art.
