Maharishi recently offered to every government in the world the
knowledge of how to create Heaven on Earth through his Vedic
Science and Technology of consciousness. Maharishi said that if a
government would allocate only 1% of its national budget on
programs used under advice from his Global Administration through
Natural Law, problems would disappear as darkness disappears with
the onset of light.
Maharishi concluded by saying that governments should "make
hay while the sun shines." And that is my message to every
Meditator, Sidha and Governor. I congratulate you for having this
great wisdom in your life. Through your regular practice of the
Transcendental Meditation and TM-Sidhi programs you are enlivening
the infinite evolutionary power of Natural Law, the Veda, in your
awareness, and radiating bliss and harmony in your surroundings.
Now, in order to achieve the goal of Heaven on Earth—where all
mankind enjoys all good everywhere and non-good nowhere—we have
to share this supreme knowledge of life with our relatives,
friends and all others around us. We must bring this knowledge to
the attention of the government leaders. We are the custodians of
this knowledge, and we must give it to others.
For Heaven to be a living reality on earth, all of us have to
create Heaven within ourselves and all around us. Heaven means
life in accord with all the Laws of Nature.
Through the present system of education, governments only provide
the knowledge and intellectual understanding of Natural Law as
discovered by different modern sciences. But knowledge and
understanding of Natural Law alone do not bring life in accord
with Natural Law. To live in accord with Natural Law, development
of higher states of consciousness is very essential.
By developing higher states of consciousness through the TM and
TM-Sidhi programs, we imbibe more and more Laws of Nature in our
thinking and behavior; and by developing total consciousness we
live in accord with all the Laws of Nature and enjoy Heaven on
Earth.
If we all do our fair share to spread the light of consciousness,
then soon the whole society will enjoy freedom from suffering,
freedom from fear, freedom from problems—perfection in
life—Heaven on Earth.

On June 10th Maharishi inaugurated the Maharishi Channel, a new
satellite television channel broadcasting to 57 countries, whose
purposeful project is the creation of Heaven On Earth, a time of
goodwill between nations, and happiness, peace and affluence for the
whole world family.
The daily three-hour telecast on the Maharishi Channel includes a
beautiful new address every day by Maharishi, along with profound
presentations by Professor Tony Nader, M.D., Ph.D., and many of the
greatest scientists of Maharishi’s universities around the world.
The great success of the Maharishi Channel inspired Maharishi, on
the full moon day, Guru Purnima, to inaugurate Maharishi Open
University to be offered via satellite to all the countries in the
world. Maharishi Open University will be broadcasting under the
auspices of Maharishi University of Management in Holland, with the
support of Maharishi University of Management in the United States.
It will offer certificates, diplomas, and degree programs in
Maharishi Vedic Science and Technology and all its precious
disciplines to people in their own homes via satellite broadcast.
On August 2nd, North America received its first Maharishi Channel
telecast, during the inaugural Sunday Broadcast of Maharishi Open
University.
The goal of Maharishi Open University is to give knowledge and
experience of Atma—the Self—to everyone, and enliven Veda and
Vedic Literature, which are the Vrittis (impulses) of Atma, to bring
the support of total Natural Law to everyone’s life. Total
knowledge of Natural Law to everyone in their own home everywhere on
earth—this is the role of Maharishi Open University.
With its foundation, the creation of Heaven on Earth for the whole
human family is now imminent. What a beautiful new gift of
Maharishi—the final step of transformation of life on earth—the
fulfillment of the goal of his more than 40 years of worldwide
activity to spiritually regenerate the whole human race.
