Jenny and Lisa are on the Web—again, and their
parents are all smiles about it. Why? Because these teenage sisters
are working together on an Internet home-study course called Living in
Tune with Natural Law. which introduces them to the basic principles of
the Maharishi Ayur-Veda program.
For the first time, students and their families have easy access by
computer to Maharishi Vedic Science courses. Now families everywhere can
participate in a series of practical courses, offered entirely on the
World Wide Web, designed to help create healthy, enlightened families who
know how to manage life in harmony with natural law.
The two sisters shut down their PC and announce they’re off on a nature
observation, part of the learning activity from this week’s lesson
on Cycles of Natural Law. They’ve been asked to observe how
natural law functions in the environment as a preparation for seeing how
these same cycles of nature’s intelligence influence their own life.
These user-friendly courses are colorfully illustrated, creative and fun.
They present beautiful, profound concepts in simple, straight-forward
language that young people can easily understand. Each lesson contains
many concrete examples and appealing graphics, along with imaginative
learning activities that enable students of all ages to work creatively
with the new knowledge they are gaining.
Developed in response to requests from parents who wished to have in their
own home the knowledge used successfully at Consciousness-Based schools
around the world, the courses are ideal as:
- part of your children’s home-school
curriculum
- an enlightening supplement to your family’s
education
- independent study, elective classes, and
special research projects by students
After dinner, the girls present their findings
from today’s outing to their family. In excited tones, Lisa describes
how she saw all of nature settling down when the sun started to set. What
especially impressed Jenny was the realization that the intelligence of
nature they observed is completely automatic, something taken for granted
yet "so amazing when you think about it" (which they just did!).
What do parents think? "As the mother of a teenage daughter,"
says Bonnie Barnett, "I have to tell you how much I love your
internet course Living in Tune With Natural Law. It’s lively,
engaging, well-written, and above all, filled with the kind of practical
knowledge so deeply needed by families today."
The course completed, Jenny sits at the dining room table with Mom and Dad
deciding which course they’ll all take next. Where’s Lisa? At the
computer with her little brother. "Now Bobby, this course is called Living
in Tune with Natural Law . . ."
Visit the web site www.ideal-ed.org

information.
Middle and high school girls can take the courses for credit through the
Heavenly Mountain Ideal Girls School, receive feedback from faculty via
e-mail, and join special conference calls with Heavenly Mountain students.
